The title taken by the Empress of the Empire of Sagremar, she is one of the most mysterious figures on the continent. According to the handful of exiles from Sagremar, the Empress has lived since the Age of Magic, when she was warned of the impending corruption of Virulan, and the rise of the Darksworn towards the Last Battle. According to them, she sent word to all of the fera in Rhaedwyn to return home, and started the work on the famous Great Walls of Sagremar, which stand to this day.
As for who, or what, warned the Empress of the impending actions of the Endless Night, it is a matter of some debate in the small field of Sagremari studies. Some propose that one of the Gods warned her of it, though they are countered by the fact the Gods would have done the same thing for the Luminarchate. A few suggest the Empress herself is a Darksworn, but with a different pact to the Endless Night, and a third group suggests blind luck.
Whatever it was, supposedly the Empress has ruled for all the two thousand years of the Age of Shadows uninterrupted.
